Welcome to PatPals. By booking or using our Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing) services, you agree to the following terms:

Our Service

We carry out PAT Testing in accordance with UK regulations and the IET Code of Practice. After testing, we provide a certificate and a detailed report of all tested appliances.

Access & Equipment

You must ensure that:

  • All appliances are accessible and ready for testing
  • Power can be disconnected safely
  • Staff or tenants are aware of the testing

Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are agreed in advance based on the number of appliances or a day rate
  • Additional items may incur extra charges
  • Payment is due within 28 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed

Cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Short-notice cancellations will incur a call-out fee.

Liability

We take care to test safely and professionally. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Faults that occur during and after testing
  • Inaccessible or untestable items
  • Pre-existing damage or wear

Certification Validity

Test certificates show that appliances were safe at the time of testing. It is your responsibility to schedule regular retesting.Test certificates will only be released on full payment of invoice
